Job description

Position: Sales and Rebate Associate

Employment status: Full-time regular

This position will assist sales managers in developing new sales opportunities and closing deals of established energy efficiency solutions to national multisite customers. This position will also work with utility companies to identify new and leverage existing rebate opportunities. This job requires the individual to be based in the DFW area.

VP of Sales

Responsibilities

  • Help sales managers qualify prospective customers against company sales opportunity criteria.
  • Assist sales managers in identifying solutions for customers with options and cost benefits.
  • Assist in drafting sales proposals focusing on project ROI, IRR, and NPV.
  • Proactively work with utility providers to develop and promote rebate incentives that can help drive NexRev sales.
  • Maintain NexRev rebate tools and ensure they are current with the latest rebate and pricing information.
  • Provide regular reporting to the sales team of rebate opportunities that can be used to leverage sales growth.
  • Identify and manage partnerships with utility companies and trade allies.
  • Maintain a high level of relevant domain knowledge to have meaningful conversations with partners and customers.
  • Engage technical staff and product specialists as needed to address customer requirements.
  • Work with delivery teams to proactively address problems.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with third-party and partner companies to deliver complete solutions to customers.
  • Provide feedback to sales management on ways to decrease the sales cycle, enhance sales, and improve the company brand and reputation.
  • Be a positive representative of the company and its brand in the marketplace.
  • Conduct all sales activities with the highest degree of professionalism and integrity.

Skills

  • Associates degree or higher (or relevant work experience).
  • Engineering, HVAC, or technical background is desired but not required.
  • Previous Utility and/or Rebate experience is desired but not required.
  • Intermediate to advanced level skills with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) required.
  • Ability to communicate with the sales team, utility program administrators, engineers, and inspectors in a professional, effective manner.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Experience with Oracle NetSuite a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Possess a desire to proactively learn a business and implement these lessons into your work.
