January 25, 2023 – NexRev today announced that it is providing a new, cloud-based centralized energy management system for one of the leading suppliers of fuel and the largest operator of travel center services across North America, serving an average of 1.3 million guests per day.
NexRev’s Freedom Enterprise service will provide multi-site integrated energy management capabilities, backed by AI and API-level integration with differed control and monitoring systems, and will be adopted across the complete building portfolio.
The move to NexRev will enable the retailer to achieve significant reductions in energy use through automation, remote management, and centralized multi-site energy optimization.
Key to NevRev’s success with the retailer is its ability to integrate existing downstream devices such as lighting, HVAC, refrigeration, water meters, fuel pumps etc. into its energy management system thus eliminating the need to completely replace these devices.
The NexRev Freedom Enterprise service provides advanced energy management capabilities including:
- Multi-site, centralized monitoring in real-time in the cloud: all of the company’s facilities managers can now remotely monitor and control energy consumption by changing setpoints and schedules in individual buildings.
- Built-in data Analytics that provide insights into energy usage patterns, so they can identify potential areas for optimization, and make data-driven decisions to achieve higher efficiency.
- Smart Automation: NexRev’s advanced adaptive control algorithms can adjust HVAC and lighting settings based on real-time data, occupancy, and weather conditions, ensuring optimal comfort for visitors while significantly reducing energy waste.
- Integrated Adaptive Demand Response capabilities, enabling organizations to easily and efficiently participate in grid balancing programs with utility suppliers.
Today’s announcement follows a period of strong growth for NexRev.
